I fear to lose my free will
Your personality is right to be fearful about this when you start practicing these ideas. He is soon to recognize that it is either him or your inner Self. Let's explore this idea about a free will, which is so cherished by your personality,
a bit further. What is it actually?
If you were to have a free will, your world according to your personality would look something like: you had plenty of money, without having to work for it, a fulfilling relationship, loving family and friends, a divine and healthy body,
never a dull moment, no unpleasant experiences, and your days would be very satisfactorily. Now, how much of this has actually come true in your life?
Free will as described here comes very close to meeting an ideal of your personality. Each time your experiences meet these wishes, your personality will use it to strengthen this idea, in all other situations your personality conveniently
makes you forget that it did not work the way he had hoped: like when your boss makes you do things, when the neighbors turn on the volume of their cd player, the company that does not deliver at the agreed moment, the cup that falls out of your hands and breaks, the birthday you forgot, the pain in your back, etc. Part of this will preferably be judged by your personality like "others are involved who have the initiative", thus miraculously escaping the principle of free will. Same applies to forgetting,
making mistakes, your body, error etc. Then what is left of this by your personality so highly valued concept of free will?
If there is a true free will, then your life as it is now, is exactly the way it is meant to be. Only, this recognition is very unpleasant for your personality, since he cannot make most of it "work", he does not want to take credit for
those aspects. However, something that is True is always true. Remember that there is a choice in every situation: how do I experience this, which aspect of myself do I use to deal with it. Do I use it to strengthen my personality or my inner Self. And then it no longer matters whether the situation is judged as pleasant or not, whether it meets some vague standard adopted by your personality and used to entertain the idea of free will or not. Each and every situation you find yourself in, you can
practice this choice. This automatically makes the whole concept of free will less interesting in itself, since you can use whatever occurs in your life for your new purpose, and you can never be in a situation where you cannot practice this choice.
