Deep connection, intense experiences = being yourself?

For everything your inner Self can offer, your personality has come up with an alternative. Be it a very week and faint substitute which nowhere resembles what your inner SElf can offer. But still, he will always come up with it. Same applies to experiencing your inner Self. He of course has come up with something that should be seen as such.

He knows you understand that being yourself is different from the everyday experiences he offers you. So your personality can choose in certain situations to let go of the protective layers he applies, and then experience and express more clearly what is happening. That is his variation on 'being yourself': be hímself.

On those moments you experience more purely and clearly the process in which the emotion is created, without hiding this immediately for yourself or others or attempting to change it. And you experience the interaction with others more direct as well. However, it still is emotion, and so it is still your personality processes you experience, nothing has changed, there had not been a mental switch to something different from your personality.

Besides that, your personality is likely to start noticing the circumstances in which he has had this experience. And start to make conclusions: pleasant or not pleasant. So you can close your mind because of it, or experience it as pleasant. And you will make a connection with the people and circumstances involved, and begin to give this meaning.

For this more pure experience of your personality you are likely to use words to express this, which will express a more strong or intense experience than normal. This in itself is a fine indication that you are looking through your personality. Since an experience of your inner Self you will never describe as special, on the contrary, it is the most common experience you will ever have, and you know this. Only it is so very attractive in itself that you will yearn to return to it. Not because it is something special, but because it is what you áre, what feels like home and is effortless and free.
