When you doubt insights like these
When your personality introduces doubts about whether or not it is 'true' what you read on this site or others like it, or maybe when he is simply against it and yet you feel like doing something with these ideas, you might ask yourself questions like the ones you find below:
- what is so terrible when the world is not entirely the way you thought it was and more the way it is described here
- what is the bad thing about being responsible yourself for the way you experience things in your life
- what is wrong about having an inner Self and a personality who seem to be irreconcilable
- what is wrong about using any situation not only for a 'worldly goal' like making profit, doing a good job, taking care of your kids, but for the goal of increasing awareness of your inner Self as well?
- what is so unacceptable about letting go of your expectations and judgments about a certain situation, thus freeing yourself and others of the limitations you imposed on them
- what is the good part about your defenses, protections, and control issues?
- would your world collapse when a new vision on it were introduced?
- do you really have the experience that simply because something triggers an unpleasant feeling in you, it 'therefore' is not true?
Now it is obvious that you do not yet experience the things as described on this site. However, there is no 'thus', no automatic logic why it therefore should not be true. An example: let's assume there were about one hundred million of people on this planet when someone stated that the earth was round instead of flat. Everybody thought that to be ridiculous, it simply could not be
true, you could even be killed for telling these 'weird' things. Now we 'know' that this one single person among those hundred million people who told something different, still was right. The only problem is, that you do not know in advance whether or not a person makes things up or not. So your own gut feeling still counts in all situations, and you can be assured that once you consciously start to remember your inner Self, you will develop a better sense for what is good for you and what isn't
here. And the things you read on this site are not even new in themselves, they are ancient insights, relived and remembered in this time and age and described in modern language. So the least you could do if you want to, is: open your mind to them.
