How long will this take?
Your personality prefers instant results. He reads a couple of things here on the site, is prepared to have you recognize this within yourself, and then expects you to be 'ready' so that now he can continue his business as usual.
Your personality is not surprised to find that for a job education you will have to study for four years, forty hours a week, and then find yourself having to practice on the job quite a lot before he himself and others consider him to be valuable to a certain standard. However, he believes it to be normal as well to make as less time as possible available for processes which will decrease his power, which the process of increasing
Awareness involves.
To become aware of the patterns of your personality, you will need quite an amount of focus and commitment, not in the least to want to move through the unpleasant effects you will now notice in full. You know yourself how long it has taken you to build your personality to the detail you find yourself in right now, how committed you are for maintaining and defending it, and the intensity of your commitment to become aware of all this
and your inner Self. The process of letting go will of course be related to these commitments, even though the one person is likely to e.g. move through it more detailed than the other.
Ultimately this is not about how fast you move through it, you have the rest of your life ahead of you. The most important thing is that you want to take this road and stay on it, whether it seems that you are moving slowly or fast, each move you make is one step forward, and necessary in order to be able to take the next one. Be confident that when you are prepared to move on, you will receive inspiration to move on in a way and at
a pace which suits you. Even when it seems that for a while nothing happens, or when you find yourself for a period of time in what seem to be intense or difficult situations. Remember that even on a 'normal' journey there are breaks and heavy tracks, in every 'normal' education there are holidays and weeks with exams ;-)
