Various kinds of inspiration

Your inner Self can come into your awareness in various ways, in brief moments even when you are not open to this kind of Awareness. This is natural, it was there before your personality came about, so it is not a surprise to find it surface every now and then despite the many distractions your personality tends to bring to mind. Now this may be experienced as a bit fearful, since your personality does not know where this came from, and cannot deal with it in a way that makes sense to him. Also he cannot control it, however, its influence is so intense that you will find that you follow it despite of anything your personality may come up with.

There may be flashes of peaceful, quiet knowing that something is good the way it is, at the moment of the change itself. For example when you are moving to a new place to live. It may also occur when being in the process of making the decision: your personality has considered every possible aspect, and all of a sudden you simply know what you are going to do, whether it makes sense in the light of all the work your personality has done, or not.

The feeling may well arise when the circumstances do not give rise to this peaceful and quiet Knowing. For example when you find yourself in what seems to be deep trouble, when everything seems to go wrong or does not cooperate, and all of a sudden you simply know that it is all right anyway.

You may find it in a form of a recurring message you receive, which inevitably leads you to increasing awareness with regard to the subject or person at hand. For example: go to X (while you may not want to do this at all, it does not make sense to you etc.). And yet you know that you will end up doing it anyway, and have to face all the mental barriers your personality has placed in between and let them go.

There is the quiet Knowing that enters your awareness when you ask for it and make mental space available for becoming aware of the answer, whether it be a practical situation that you are facing at that moment, or when you want more insight in understanding what was really happening in a situation which your personality labeled as very unpleasant for example.

And last but not least let's not forget the warm, joyful, intense peaceful experience when you have remembered what seems to be a new insight and start using this in practice, or have practiced by experiencing a situation through your inner Self.

Your inner Self is who you really are, so be confident, trust what is there and open up to it, this is only getting more pleasant and a more continuous experience (wouldn't it be great to have many more of peaceful, familiar moments like these!).
