I do not have time for this
“I do have a job you know, and a family, and social obligations. I do not have any time at all to focus on these things". A well-known personality saying which aims at avoiding having to spend more time on increasing Awareness. You know yourself this is only a matter of speaking, since when somebody asks you right now to make an appointment you are likely to do so right away, whereas when you were to
make an appointment with yourself to spend an hour or so on awareness issues, you simply do not do so.
The good news that I have for you, actually is no good news to your personality at all: you need not spend any extra time on this at all, you need not create special time or sessions. The only thing you have to do, is to use the time you normally spend on worrying, justifying yourself, looking for safety within yourself or with others, attempt to establish your viewpoint as a truth etc., on wondering
whether this is what you really want, or that you might want to start looking for a truly different way to deal with the situation at hand. Simply by asking yourself: what is the real Truth about your personality and your inner Self in this specific situation. You may recon on getting plenty of time available through this alone (and this only increases, since after a while you need spend less and less time on your personality issues).
While you are playing with your children and notice some irritation within yourself, there is plenty of time to become aware of this. When you are in a meeting with colleagues and you feel attacked, the same applies. A dinner with friends offers great opportunities to focus on the other outcome of the same mechanism: interpretations with a result 'nice'. Etc. Simply introduce the extra viewpoint of
your personality, and your everyday life automatically becomes your greatest source of inspiration!
