Getting off the hook by stating that 'your inner Self made you do this’?

When you read the information on the site, you might get the idea that you could make mistake after mistake and then simply say you had to do this because your inner Self said so.

Nothing will stop your personality from attempting to believe this and tell a story like that when it comes in handy for him. In itself it is not in the interest of your personality to make mistakes, since this does not lead to a pleasant self image and reactions of others. So the only reason to hide behind your inner Self is to get off the hook and thus attempt to avoid consequences.

However, when you have trúly lived up to the inspiration of your inner Self, this action of your personality will cause quite some tension within you, simply because it is very clear to you that you are using this for avoiding and getting of the hook, and thus attempt to use inspiration of your inner Self for personality purposes. Seen from your inner Self you know this is not about 'right' or 'wrong' in itself. And when your personality was the source of it all, you still know that you are not telling the truth so you end up with tension either way. This will never lead to a win-situation.

In all situations you will find yourself sitting in the front row of experiencing the consequences of a story like that and - you may try it if you like - the attendants usually are not very fond of them either ;-) So ultimately you may try to turn a story like that into a truth for yourself, but why would you do so, what good does it really do for you, other than the one out of many attempts to not have your personality lose its grip on your life.

The above is not so much an issue when you truly follow inspiration from your inner Self (which comes with a certainty through which you simply Know it is the right thing to do, and you will feel no need to avoid its consequences), it is more a thought from personalities who are thinking about how they can use the process of remembering your inner Self for their own good.
