You are the only one who fails to make it work
Your personality would like you to believe that you are the only one who cannot make things work. There are definitely advantages to putting you in this special position: your personality can now interpret his failure to make things work for you as a personal error, thus avoiding that you might take a closer look at and/or doubt the bigger picture.
Now it is 'appropriate' for him to enter feelings of guilt, personal failure and like, since according to him it is possible in itself to make things work, only you fail in it. In return, you will uphold the idea that you can make it work in contacts with others, since nobody wants to present himself as a failure, and now others will not be inspired either to question the overall concept.
And should there be a story from someone who tells that things can be seen in a different light, you prefer not to take a look at it, since this too would mean you are a failure, and on top of that it would make you aware of how unpleasant the activity of your personality actually is.
So all in all a very ingenious way in which the personality-concept upholds itself. However, when you are tired of it, this site will offer you extensive inspiration to not only let go of the old ideas, realizing that your personality is not 'you', but on top of that, to realize what you have always been in the first place: your inner Self.
Your personality is a small piece of your awareness which isolates itself, blocks all awareness of the rest of your Self, makes up a set of rules and then proclaims: see now, there is nothing else. While seen from the perspective of 'the rest' of your awareness the insanity of this proclamation is immediately
obvious, and you will see from there how 'made up' and limiting it is.
