The right perspective
In almost every situation, your personality will take his own perspective as a starting point, and then asks himself the question why things are not working, or how something he believes is missing, can be supplied. However, your personality is a layer you have woven around your inner Self, and through which you now have forgotten who you really are. So actually, you ask the 'problem' what a true solution should be. On top of that, you
have forgotten what the true solution really is, which is being your Self, which was there all along.
True perspective therefore is about: what am I really (my inner Self), and why do I let myself get distracted from experiencing this in full. I already am inner Peace, warmth, love etc., then why am I not experiencing this? What is it that I believe to be more important than this at this very moment in time to focus my attention on? You can simply practice this idea in each and every situation, this too is a way to become more aware
of the ways of your personality so you can make a conscious choice whether you want to continue repeating these, or let go of your investment in them.
For example: I believe it to be more important at this moment in time that my friend finds me attractive than that I experience inner Peace. I believe it to be more important that others believe that I am successful than that I experience my inner Self. I believe it to be more important at this moment in time to be right rather than experiencing Love. I believe it to be more important to close this deal at this moment in time than to
experience inner Peace. Etc. And usually you will find that the reasoning from your personality why he believes this to be so, also comes directly into your awareness.
