Claim some time for yourself

Get a piece of paper and a pen.
Consciously draw an oval form that touches the sides of your paper exactly in the middle.

Now draw a rectangle within the oval form, which touches the line of your oval with its edges.
Within this rectangle, draw an oval that touches the sides of your rectangle exactly in the middle. Etc.   

The precision and concentration with which you perform this exercise, will bring the focus of your attention into Here and Now.
Do it as long as is comfortable for you, or until the forms become too small to handle

Then simply sit down for a little while. Let thoughts pass by without consciously dealing with them.
