Responsability

One of the necessities of personalities is, to maintain itself. To make sure he is successful in that, he made a huge amount of rules with which he can generate a tremendous amount of thoughts and ideas by  himself, simply by interpreting one single appointment or idea.

Responsibility is one of those ideas. You are made responsible for things: in your job, for a group of people. etc. At home you are responsible for your family. You are held responsible for what you say and do, and the spin-off of your behaviour. You feel morally responsible for your mentally ill parents. So you see, this are only a few examples of situations where the label "responsibility" is used.

Responsibility, seen through the eyes of your personality, is some sort of intervention from your side, without which things would not work out as well as they should. The people of your department would not function as well when you would not make sure that their focus was on the same issues. Your family would not be where they are now when you would not take care of them. Etc. And on top of this, other personalities can now blame you for not meeting the responsibilities assigned to you. This will make your personality defensive, or at least make him look for possibilities to escape the unpleasant feelings this calls forth as much as possible.

You see, when you take a closer look at this one word, there are a lot of issues that accompany it. Now what would happen when you would stop entertaining the idea of responsibility. You would have more of your attention span available for your inner Self, thus effortlessly tapping into another source of inspiration which may call forth a different kind of action than you are used to. This does not mean that the people around you will not try to nail you to your responsibilities. But when you become aware of the reactions of your personality, feelings included, and face them and stop investing energy in upholding these ideas, there will be action, inspired by the person who talked to you, rather than defence against a believed attack through another personality.

Your personality will come up with a lot of "evidence" why this could not work, and you will have to face this without strengthening it. It is an important personality tool, so it is likely to have a lot of aspects to look upon. But simply make a start, every step you can make is one on the road ahead.
