You only have to thínk about it

When something is bothering you, for example an issue with others, then you do not have to leave your home or wait for the next contact in order to be able to deal with it. Imagine right this moment the situation at hand: without a doubt you will feel right now, without anybody present, the tension which arises from this contact within you. No wonder, tension is the result of the interpretation process of your personality. So when you get irritated with somebody, you can feel this irritation at this very moment, as soon as this person comes into your mind, whether within this specific situation or not. This applies to all feelings you experience, only in a direct contact they are usually more intense and harder to get rid of - and harder to avoid. 

So feel free to deal with your issues 'off-line'. A lot of the work you have to do, like facing your own judgment, the things you have to become aware of etc. can be done easy without anybody taking care of live input. And when you then do meet again, you can check where you have made progress and which new layers now arise to the surface to deal with, so you can continue your 'homework'.

By the way, this kind of 'homework' can be done perfectly during those times where you have to wait for something, or would start to look for distraction anyway: in a traffic jam in the car, when you are waiting in line for your phone call to be dealt with, in the bathroom, during a boring tv show etc.
