Trust as alternative

The alternative for every situation in which your personality plays a role, is trusting your inner Self. This sounds, especially in the beginning, easier said than done. Since in the course of your life you have diminished awareness of your experiences with this thoroughly.

It is not that you have to get used to being your Self, or that you would not want the experience of your Self - its attractiveness and familiarity stand out to you immediately -, it is about whether you trust this so much that you are ready to no longer want everything your personality comes up with. In the beginning, this trust will be very small, but of course it will increase together with your experiences with it.

Trusting that you will see what you have to see, that you will hear what you will have to hear, that you will know what you have to know. That you will say what you have to say. Etc. And that everything else is not important, and that - as a result of this - you will experience what you really will to experience.

This can only be when you trust That What decides what it is you have to see, hear, know, say and do and whose input you experience as your Will. And which knows and follows the 'goal' for your presence here, even though you do not recognize this yourself (as yet). Otherwise this would be ridiculous and you would concentrate fully on letting your personality decide what your will and goals are and how to reach these.

So when you find yourself in a situation where this leads to tension, then ask yourself: why do I have more trust now in my personality than in my inner Self?

Do realize that the ways of your personality always involve 'doing' or 'letting' something in order to reach something, whereas those of your inner Self as part of your process of increasing awareness, will come with an inner shift of looking at a situation, followed by the very pleasant experience of being your Self, where an eventual doing or letting go of something only follows from there.
