Where do I start?
A well-known personality sigh, especially when you find yourself in quite a mess. Usually at the moment where your personality no longer sees his way out, there is more than one thing at hand in your life.
You are likely to be tempted to start dealing with what you believe are your biggest issues. Even though there is nothing wrong with that in itself, it is a good thing to realize that your biggest issues are likely to represent your biggest personality investments as well. Now there are two possibilities: either he 'surrenders' and allows you to deal with it in the new way. Or the first attempt to even consider something different than his own approach
is immediately and thoroughly swept from the table, while labeled as 'not working for you'.
A solution through your inner Self will never be the way your personality expects it to be, you may want to take a look at the column 'not in the interest of your personality' for this as well. So it is whatever works best for you, however, do realize there is a different option as well: the way of the least resistance.
When you practice choosing for your inner Self on small issues, then the counter reaction of your personality usually is comparably small as well and can be dealt with conveniently, especially when he is allowed to uphold his investments in 'the big issues'. Once you practice and get more experience and trust with these smaller issues, this also prepares a good basis for when you come to the bigger ones. Where you are likely to notice these have somewhat
decreased in intensity as well, since even your smallest steps in makeing more mental space available for your inner Self are likely to effect the whole of your experience of your life, without you having to consciously put any effort in doing so.
The aim of your personality is to lose the unpleasant experiences of your bigger issues as soon as possible, however, through his own rules - which are exactly the rules which brought you into these problems in the first place. Now you can remind yourself that you do not have to get rid of these unpleasant experiences, they are there and that's it. It may not be 'pleasant', so be it. This too is likely to take away much of the pressure, namely the
need for having to solve all this and take care of creating pleasant experiences once more.
