A world without standards and values

As you have taught yourself to explain-away your original feelings with an incredible speed, you almost believe it yourself that you are now a grown-up, reasonable person. You have an overview, can put things into perspective, you can overcome things, you do not hit other people, etc. What you really say, is that you have taught yourself to put a lot of effort into justifying an original response that seems to be unwanted. Your personality hardly ever has a very positive interpretation. It usually leads to irritation, disapproving, belief that other people are less good, etc., and all that certainly does not result in a very happy worldview.

It is much more efficient to take a look at the origin of these feelings and work on that, then you do not have to put any energy in straightening things afterwards. And the source is: you have chosen a great number of standards and values and you judge everything you perceive against these, and interpret them accordingly. When one of these standards is not met, your personality faces tension as a result of this.

Your personality believes that a world without standards and values is threatening, as he believes that it will lead to lawlessness, aggression, egoism etc. Now that might be true when your personality would act out its original, uncensored judgments. What he conveniently makes you forget, is that when you no longer strengthen your personality, the same applies to your interpretations which will disappear. And when there are no judgments, there is no ground for feelings to come up, neither of rage, anger, or irritation. And when people do know how to live from this place of inner peace, take full responsibility for their own feelings, and act from inspiration, I personally do not believe that that will lead to an incredible mess.
